The Organizing Committee is delighted to announce the International Vascular Biology Meeting 2018 (IVBM2018), to be held in Helsinki, Finland on June 3-7, 2018.
The IVBM2018 will bring together investigators from all fields of vascular biology for the exchange of new ideas and discussions of burning issues. Presentations of the latest concepts and discoveries will be provided by internationally recognized scientists and young stars of the future from all around the globe. The program consists of plenary sessions, parallel symposia, and poster sessions, located adjacent to the symposium exhibition.
The Organizing Committee together with the Scientific Program Committee has put together a truly exciting program with nearly 90 invited speakers (see the Program). Follow us at Twitter and Facebook, where the scientific program of the IVBM2018 is soon available.
The IVBM2018 creates an outstanding showcase of top-of-the level vascular biology research, and an opportunity to experience the Scandinavian culture, nature and cuisine. The meeting will be held in the Finlandia Hall, a masterpiece of Finnish architecture, located right in the Helsinki city centre. In the beginning of June, Helsinki, one of Scandinavia’s major capitals, is buzzing with light and life – the Nordic white night when the sun sets only for a moment brings out the magic in the city and its people. Summer is also the best time for tasting of local and Nordic cuisine’s seasonal ingredients fresh from the nature.
We would like to thank our partnering societies for their generosity in the form of Travel and Poster Awards available for the IVBM2018 participants.
We look forward to seeing you all in 2018 in Helsinki!
