Our work focuses on the action of tumor suppressor genes and checkpoint proteins in the control of cell growth and cellular stress. We address how p53 tumor suppressor is regulated in DNA damage and attempt to resolve crosstalk and alterations of transforming growth factor-ß (TGF-ß) pathway in breast cancer.
