Save File format
The save files generated by PlasmaDNA (.pof files) are simple-text based and can be edited by any word-processing software.
Although it is not recommended to make modifications to these files as it might interfere with the proper loading of the information by PlasmaDNA if a mistake is introduced, it is possible to do so.
The format of the files is as follow:
pof files format
N> name of the fragment
S> sequence of the fragment 5'-3'
5> type and sequence of the 5' overhang. type: -1 for 5' overhang, 0 for blunt end, and 1 for 3' overhang
3> type and sequence of the 3' overhang
C> 0 if the fragment is circular, 1 if linear
RE> name of the SHOWN restriction sites
PP> name of the HIDDEN domains
PR> name of the HIDDEN primers
