The 23rd Sigrid Jusélius International Symposium |

Instructions for SpeakersThe focus of the meeting is to discuss overlapping mechanisms of aging, neurodegeneration and mitochondria, and we ask you to consider this when preparing your talk. Naturally, we wish to hear of your most exciting new results, but a proper introduction is needed, as part of the audience is not familiar with your specific topic. Please submit an abstract of your talk before 1st May 2009, through the 'Abstracts' link at this website. Abstracts arriving later than that will not appear in the abstract book. Prepare your presentation to be within the time limit given in the program. The standard audio-visual equipment will be provided by the organizers, i.e. PC, beamer, and laser pointer. You can bring the presentation on a USB-stick. Please contact the organizers if you need other equipment (eva.tallqvist at sigridjuselius.fi). A speaker room will be available for the speakers, in which you should test that your presentation works fine; especially the videos should be tested well in advance. Staff at the speaker room will aid you, and also load the presentation to the symposium computer. All presentations are loaded to the symposium computer, to facilitate smooth transition from talk to talk, and removed immediately after your presentation.
