Mikko Anttonen
Mikko (M.D., PhD) is a resident and research fellow at the Dept. of Obstetrics and Gynecology (HUCH). His translational research focuses on diseases involving dysfunction of the ovarian granulosa cells, particularly granulosa cell tumors (GCT), and ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS) that occurs during infertility treatments. His major goal is to clarify how FOXL2 and anti-Müllerian Hormone (AMH) are linked to the pathogenesis and the clinical behavior of these diseases. Mikko is the co-supervisor of Marjut's and Anniina´s thesis projects.
