Introduction A new Consortium for Mass
Spectometrical Analyses was recently established at the Helsinki
University Meilahti Medical Campus. This Consortium will provide in the
near future Services in Proteomics and Metabolomics through four
specialized Research Groups (Proteomics and Protein Chemistry with
Peptide Array Technology; Glycoproteomics and Carbohydrate Analysis;
Lipidomics; Urine Proteomics and Peptidomics).

The Unit for Urine Peptidomic

samples. Urine peptides serve often as biomarker candidates but do not
