Basic Cource in Clinical Proteomics and Metabolomics with Magic Tricks (2016)
Date: September,
2016 Clinical Metabolomics Location: Biomedicum Helsinki, Haartmaninkatu 8, 00290 Helsinki Ground floor (Please check at the Biomedicum Security Staff at the Entrance for further guidance). This is a 3 + 7 day
lecture and hands-on course for the all
graduate students who want to deepen their basic knowledge in Clinical
Metabolomics and Proteomics.
The course includes two
blocks
of which each can be atended separately. The lectures are normally from
09:15 to 12:00. The hands-on
part will be arranged during one day each (two identical days to be
selected from) and is at 13:15 - 15:00. In addition to the lectures you
will have the opportunity to watch the most amazing Magic Tricks ever! This Course is open for international students also!

in Clinical and Basic Proteomics 2016/2017 is a hands-on 8 hour/day
course
which is
conducted in the Clinical Proteomics Unit premises in Biomedicum
Helsinki,
Finland in April, 2015. During this course students will
untangle the
mysteries of carefully selected proteins and protein complexes with the
help of
modern protein chemical technologies (1- and 2D gel electrophoresis,
micro- and
nano-LC, LC-MS, MSMS, MALDI-TOF, HR Q-TOF-IMS, AA-sequencing etc.).
Number of
students selected to the course will be limited. This Course is open

Is a three
days hands-on laboratory Course. The students will learn how to prepare
tissue
samples for MALDI Imaging (IMS) and further how to analyze such samples
by two
different MALDI MS instruments (Low resolution and High resolution; Ion
Mobility and ETD fragmentation). Next Course will be arranged possibly
